“I created Miami Auction Gallery about 2 years ago when I saw a void in our community – local artists and regular people didn’t have a p
lace to sell their items at auction. The only auction houses available were Sotheby’s and Christie’s and they deal only with high end and well-known artists. They wouldn’t touch an artist if the artist didn’t have an established selling record.
So I took my background in the pawn shop industry were I learned how to purchase art and Collectables, attended the Florida Auctioneers Academy (took their 10 day intensiv
e course and the state test), and became a licensed auctioneer. Miami Auction Gallery was born to offer a global platform for locals to sell their items and at the same time help local artists showcase their art.”
