Big, bold, brilliant, bombastic and very entertaining … Barney Rosenzweig, Emmy-Award winning Television Producer, is keeping very busy during his retirement in his Miami home on exclusive Fisher Island … when he’s not in California, London, or New York.
With Emmy-Awards and impressive professional acclaim for his role as Executive Producer and writer for the hit 1980s television series Cagney & Lacey (starring Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly), the 1960s series Daniel Boone (starring Fess Parker), a dozen episodes of Charlies’ Angels, and The Trials of Rosie O’Neill (starring Sharon Gless), Barney Rosenzweig has earned the privilege to play tennis, relax in the Spa, indulge in a nap, take in some Broadway shows, write in his journal, and promote his book (available on Amazon).
A frequent guest on “Conversations with Stewart B Stewart”, an hour-long audio show hosted by Stewart Stewart, this time Barney dropped by for some on-camera conversation with Stewart and Dena Stewart.
With a little prodding, Barney talks about his very busy life during retirement, growing older with dignity, the end of well-performed Gilbert & Sullivan since the Doyly Carte Opera Company let their licensing rights lapse, and the latest activities of his very talented Emmy-Award winning wife, actress Sharon Gless (that’s right … Sharon is the “Blonde”).
