The Rams came to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the first time in 22 years and an estimated 90,000 people were there for the first game against the Dallas Cowboys. With the Cowboys scoring a touchdown within the first 13 seconds, the crowds excitement immediately went down the drain. But it wasn’t over yet. The Rams answered back late in the game to win 28 to 24 with one last touchdown in the remaining two minutes of the game.
The only unfortunate part of the game was that it was at the Coliseum. The rundown arena was not very accommodating for the amount of people attending. The one bathroom I was able to find during the game had a line longer than a Disneyland ride.
Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but it definitely wasn’t enough for a crowd of 90,000. If you should decide to attend a Rams game in the future, be prepared to spend big bucks to park ($50 and up) and long lines to grab food or drinks. Personally, I will just be looking forward until the new stadium is built.
