CONVERSATIONS WITH STEWART STEWART
It seems like everybody is writing their memoir or their version of the Great American Novel. I recently had an opportunity to speak with three authors who self-published their book, each book from a different genre.
James Redwood is a first-time author who wrote a historical mystery novel.
Henry “Hank” Quense has been self-publishing books in a variety of genres for over a decade.
And Barney Rosenzweig, an Emmy Award-winning Television Producer, wrote about his Hollywood life in “Cagney & Lacy and Me”.
Barney also talked about Sharon Gless, his Emmy Award-winning Actress wife who published her memoir the traditional way – with Simon and Schuster.
Each author had his own experience with book publishing and book promotion. However, they all admitted that promoting their book was one of the hardest parts of publishing.
Find out what they said when I asked them if they intend to write and self-publish another book.
