They are very social birds, who either love to be outrageous just for the fun of it or watch others be outrageous and laugh along. When Flamingles start to burnout in their South Beach, they get their “R and R” on this exclusive island resort created just for them.

“SOBE Tea Dance” –In the 90s the weekend always ended with a tea dance on Ocean Drive. One Sunday two of South Beach’s most fashionable drag queens showed up in the same dress which the designer promised both were one of a kind. They were both mad as hell, and as one queen danced by the other queen she made a comment. The first queen turned angry red. She stopped dancing and turned towards the other queen. The music stopped and then…
One of the oldest Street cons in New York City is Three Card Monty. It takes a team of at least five conspirators to make the game work. The dealer, the distractor who distracts the “pigeon” while the dealer switches cards; a third conspirator who seems to always win and make it look so easy; A lookout at each end of the block watching for police. Can you spot players?
VISIONARY – PRIMITIVE PAINTINGS
In my Parallel Universe in the 70s there was this hot dance club called Studio 54. Only the top creme de la creme of society, entertainment, sports, politics, and the world of nefarious characters could get inside. Everyone else waited outside to get in the front door. THEY were the real scene in my parallel universe.

HOUSE PORTRAITS
Commissioned by Country Living Magazine to create an original piece of art from a photograph of a home resulted in a feature article. From there, readers sent photos and letters telling me about their house. My paintings always emphasized the parts of the house they loved the most. In some cases these paintings have become family heirlooms and symbols of remembrance to pass on to future generations.
THE PINK BLUESMAN
Floydd’s Group –Four life-like statues of the members of Floydd’s Group, a fictional story about a unique black albino musician who is on a quest to become a genuine bluesman and play the real blues. This is a multimedia art exhibition which will tour museums and University Art Galleries around the country. It also includes a video documentary; 40 original paintings – created by three well-known visionaries/primitive artists each in their own style – illustrating the life and times of this talented group.
