On behalf of AliveOnSouthBeach.com®™ Dena Stewart and Stewart Stewart went to the South Beach Seafood Festival’s “Seafood SLAM“, where food vendors lined up on the sand to serve an assortment of seafood delacacies, desserts and drinks, to enthusiastic festivalgoers.

With energizing music in the air and gorgeous South Beach weather, Stewart and I (Dena), took turns standing on long lines with other dedicated foodies. Well worth the wait for a crispy taco with fresh tuna on a bed of guacamole, roasted corn on a skewer, stone crabs, sushi, shrimp in garlic sauce, fried fish sliders, pastries, breads, and the list goes on – of course, everything was delicious.
We have attended the annual South Beach Seafood Festival many times since its first event in 2011, and have seen it grow into a major celebration of South Florida’s culinary scene, bringing together local restaurants, chefs, and seafood lovers.
For us, the Seafood SLAM was a chance to enjoy the food, music, and people that make being Alive On South Beach so special.
