On behalf of AliveOnSouthBeach.com, Stewart Stewart and I (Dena Stewart) attend the Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference every year. This year, as a Media Partner, we returned to the Miami Beach Convention Center to cover our favorate private Trade Show.
The three-day event filled Halls A, B, and C, so there was plenty of ground to cover. We wove our way up, down, and across rows of vendors, and mingled with professionals in every aspect of the food industry. We tasted samples and discovered foods and products from across the Americas and around the World.

This year, the show celebrated its 30th anniversary, and the energy filled the Halls. Still, what kept us moving was the same thing that has drawn us back over the years: the chance to meet enthusiastic chefs, hear stories behind unfamiliar products, and sample foods cooked to perfection.
Some booths introduced bold or unfamiliar flavors; others offered rich, juicy hot dogs with all the trimmings on a soft, sweet, brioche bun.
We tried Pastries, Pizza, Pasta, and Breads. Ice Cream, Candies, and Savory Spreads. Seafood, Spinach and Beef Empanadas, Fruit-Flavored Wines and Pina Coladas. Hard and Soft Cheese, with hot & sweet Jam; Skewers with Roast Beef, Chicken and Ham. By the end of Day 3, sampling everything edible, this Show, once again, proved to be unforgettable.

As mentioned, the annual Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference is exclusively for the food and beverage trade. For most of the vendors the objective was to introduce their products and have them distributed to markets in the U.S. and around the world.
We left with new tastes to remember, and hope to see many of these items on a shelf in our neighborhood food shops. And we look forward to next year when the Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center to celebrate its 31st anniversary.
