Training for a job with the FBI, young recruit Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) uses his own special athletic skills, and infiltrates the gang of thieves by befriending their charismatic leader, Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). As Johnny experiences the rush of their lifestyle, and becomes personally involved with the three (one turns out to be his love interest), his superiors at the FBI fear that he has become one of the criminals.
This Point Blank remake was a muddled story that didn’t explain why, aside from a brief mention of the Zen teachings, these extreme athletes committed these crimes. However, in 3-D the scenes were breathtaking and the movie was thrilling because of its cinematography.
