Hard to believe, but this is Episode 72 of Alive on South Beach and Stewart and I (Dena Stewart) still love talking with the many high tech, high Energy, creative and fun individuals we meet at the phenomenal conferences, concerts, places and events in Miami and Miami Beach. For example, the eMerge Americas Conference was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. How could we miss it!
Of course, we wanted to see the new Hi-Tech gadgets, machines, and devices we can look forward to using in the future, such as: lucyd.co eyewear that, in additional to being eyeglasses, also serves as a radio and telephone; and FloraVina, a company that is introducing a robotic machine that makes flower arrangements; and New Horizons
… And afterwards, came Memorial Day Weekend on Miami Beach, reminding us of the much-publicized, out-of-control, over-the-top, Urban Beach Week police-shooting crime scene we featured in our very first Episode of Alive on South Beach ®™ . So, we went to the kickoff of Reframe, a city-planned series of cultural events to help change the reputation of what Urban Beach Week was, to what Miami Beach Memorial Day Weekend now is. … A vacationers haven.
This Memorial Day Weekend featured a patriotic and quite awesome Sea and Air show.
A lively walk along Ocean Drive.
… And the best of this now upbeat and safe holiday Weekend was going to a free, Flo Rida concert on the beach and being part of the crowd of fans jumping, waving, twerking, dancing, and smiling throughout his high energy performance.
